I have an appointment for mri at Torrevieja hospital Wednesday at 8pm, they rang me to say I have to go to floor minus 1 from the coffee shop, does anyone know where this would be as I didn't know there was a coffee shop at the hospital and I'm worried I won't find the right place

Any help would be appreciated

Hello

The  hospital cafe is  down stairs from ground floor,  on the same level as the main appointments desk

Cheers

If you go from the car park that's not in front of the main entracee along the bottom road then you go past the cafe and enter next to that. It is the main entrance for admissions. Either that or go into the main entrance and down to the enquiries bit but turn right and follow the corridor along until you get to the other admission desk.

Hi

I had an MRI scan a few months ago, and it was confusing because the usual outpatients entrance was closed for some reason! But I figured it out eventually!

Yes, go to the lowest floor (-1), past the cafe and you will see an admissions/enquiry desk. I asked at the desk and they told me to follow the red line painted on the floor, which turned out to be quite long for me as I have a bad foot/ankle (which was the reason for the MRI) - I could hardly walk by the time I got there! It turned out that the MRI scanner was mounted inside a lorry at the back door of the hospital - which wasn't quite what I was expecting!

Good luck!

Cheers

Steve

Thank you, that's a great help, I was worried because the appointment being at 8pm I thought the main entrance might be closed so I will try to arrive early to give me time to find it. Fingers crossed

Cheers
