Hi all,

I am buying a property just outside of Frailes on Camino La Fuente, and im trying to get a decent broadband/fibre service organized before we move in.

Cableworld only say they can offer a 50mb Aire service, which we will struggle with, and conecta 3 are not 100% that they can offer the service at my location.

Is there any other providers that cover the area?

If i have to eventually go with the Aire service through lack of chice, does anyone have it and are happy with it? As an ex Telecoms IT engineer, i have always stayed clear of those type of services in the past.

thanks

phil

I live the Hondon side of La Romana.  I use Cableworld and find them excellent to deal with and the product is good too. Speeds of 50-60+ which is good enough for my needs. With your knowledge chat with them ( Novelda offices) and sort something out. They are progressive.

Why do you think you would 'struggle' with 50mB'?

If it was just for general internet browsing and gaming it would be fine,  but 50mb is pushng the ultra 4k capabilities on a firestick android tv, 50mb will be ok for 4k netflix though.

But any contention over wimax and other devices in the house using the wifi could well make it unwatchable with android tv, so i need to play it safe as 1 dont want to be always on the red line of the bandwidth.in a 2 month contract.

Also, i use Nordvpn and that as well as most vpns have a habit of throttling the bandwidth as well, so a solid 50mb could well drop to 40mb ith a vpn ( needed for uk TV).

I have managed to get 100mb fibre with conecta 3, so happy days.
