I’ve been waiting all day for a call from Telecable

I’m new to the group so please be patient with me.

I arrived from UK last night to find I didn’t have Excom/Telecable internet. I reported it early moaning after 2 dropped calls. Told I would be contacted by the tech team. My phone rang for a few seconds at approx 6pm so didn’t get chance to answer. I returned the call but it disconnected immediately. Obviously don’t know when they will call again and if it will be another call that I don’t get chance to answer. I’ve been told the call is to make an appointment to visit so it probably won’t be sorted any time soon. Has anyone else had this problem with them?

I too am having problems getting a response from Telecable (in Santa Pola). In the past they have been very good.

Since the end of August I've been trying to upgrade from wireless to cable. Despite 2 emails and 3 visits to their office all I get is that 'someone will contact you in a day or two'. Then nothing happens.

Very disappointing.

Patience is required when dealing with utility & service providers in Spain,  nothing is instant so I would call again today & explain that you missed their call back yesterday.  There is more online regarding non payment of bills after a length of time being a reason for disconnection, so check with your bank that any DDs have been paid

Vega Fibra they have an office on the Urbanisation Calle Teresa Berganza 5 which is at the bottom of the street where Santa Monica is, if you look to the right you can’t miss the building. Or there’s Telfry which is up by the Pharmacy on the row where Big Eat is, Plaza Sierra Castilla.

Hello David,

My wife has been having problems for the last 2 weeks, the internet was working but not the phone line. I sent a couple of emails to them and today the phone is now working. She was going to call in to their office this morning the one near the sport center on the island. Hope you get sorted. Alan.

I find ut easier to call i to there office on la marina the young man is so very helpful in the office he will advise you what is happening and its best to take all your paperwork .ie NIE passport ...ect ....its an excellent service if contact in person is made ..i find telephone to santa pola SLOW.
