As I understand it, the proposed rule change that increases the amount from the 100ml position doesn't come in until June 2024 - and is also dependent on the roll-out of new scanners so could well be delayed (or apply only at certain airports)

Latest news was that the increase would not got ahead until all airport scanners were compatible and that will not be until mid 2025 now.

Only Teeside and London City have the scanners in use but you wouldn't be able to bring the same amount back.

In Ireland, regional airports have the new scanners but Dublin Airport T1 only has them on lane 3 and 4
