I am trying to find a lawyer that can handle issues related with my neighbor.  They have been disturbing my peace and quiet.  I can no longer enjoy my outdoors simply because my neighbor feels entitled to have their kids yell, scream and more because they are kids.

I think even with the link shared by John123456, you will have to learn to accept kids enjoying the outdoors as it falls into the category of completely reasonable as long as its within proper timeframes of day and night

I'm afraid I have to agree with BruceK.

It can be a very fine line between what would be considered normal family life in Spain, not forgetting that the Spanish are genetically disposed to be noisy, and what's excessive and unacceptable.

If you really want to go down this road then your fist step should be the making of a denuncia with the police.

I think the first step is having a quiet word with the family

I bought a house last year, and at the end of the year a family moved into the house next door.  Ofcouse i was respectful with their space, and life. however, not long ago, the neighbor comes over and confronts me if i was ok with them living next to me cause he received a complaint letter about their noise level, and more.  Ofcourse I replied that it was not me, and I told him that i would tell him if i see someone monitoring his house or anything.  Since then, their noise level has doubled, and the kids jump, yell, scream, play ball and bounce the ball on our side of the house.  Not been the argumentative type, I am thinking of getting a lawyer envolved because I want my peace and quiet, and they seem want to fight and be aggresive.  And the sad part is they are english, and not spanish.

Hello,

sadly they dont seem to be the type to have a quiet word with.  they are very aggressive, and sadly they are not spanish.  they are english.  this is why i want a lawyer and i dont want to disturb my peace and quiet.

Have you spoken to the community president? Perhaps he/she could have a quiet word with them on your behalf. I'd be very careful about going down the lawyer route - things can escalate quickly and get very expensive and time consuming.
