Hello, I have a cottage in Lamarina and a friend of mine would like to spend the winter here. He needs medical care, he needs kidney dialysis three times a week. Does anyone have experience with this and where are there facilities where he can inform himself? He is a Dutchman

I would imagine the treatment will be very expensive unless your friend has health insurance that will meet the cost or perhaps the Dutch public health authorities may arrange treatment and meet the cost? I know patients from the UK can have treatment arranged by their Kidney Team in advance in some countries, including Spain. It may be useful for your friend to discuss their needs with his doctor in advance.

Dutch healthcare is also in Spain insured, this is no problem
The EHIC covers necessary treatment such as dialysis and oxygen treatment but needs to be arranged beforehand. Your friend's doctor should be able to arrange this.
I don't know what health area covers La Marina but Torrevieja hospital has a dedicate dialysis centre. Check with your health centre which hospital covers where you live.
