Hola

Does anyone know what the eventual plan is for My Life pub? Have seen a lot of building work going on so just curious.

Thanks

It’s an huge Irish pub/restaurant in Urb Torreblanca Torre La Mata. We went past a couple of weeks ago and there were a couple of full skips outside.

The owner is renovating the entire place. Very popular and Spanish owned Irish pub / restaurant.

Thanks for the input.

Although, my question was and remains, does anyone know what the end result will be?

As I understand it the pub was bought by Chinese owners earlier this year and their plan is to make it into a new improved sports type bar. Upstairs and downstairs will be completely refurbished. Hopefully it will be a great addition to the area. Unfortunately that rear access past the derelict bungalow has been walled off. I hope that that doesn't become a permanent closure for that access.Alan

Thanks Alan571.

Do you think it’ll be a Chinese restaurant?  I think that would work well as the other Chinese restaurant never reopened after lockdown. If they do it anything like the Yugo Garden not far away, they’ll be onto a winner. Let’s wait and see.

No it's definitely going to be a bar. I agree about Yugo Garden though (as long as you don't sit under the trees where the birds might drop something on you!)

It’s going to be a sports bar with casino/betting shop showing all live sport.
