OK car hire Alicante Airport.

Morning all, just a quick inquiry, has anyone had problems with OK car hire ie returning rental car getting stung for so called damage ( that was on the car at pick up ! ).

Had a problem a couple of years ago on one of several rentals from OK. Seemed to be one particular member of staff that would do it. Had to pay once but was promptly refunded by excess insurance (Insurance4carhire I think).

Have used ok for a few years now, no its a pain but take photos of every mark dint scratch on the vehicle when picking the vehicle up, when returning always wait with the vehicle (if possible) until checked and ask whoever is checking if its ok. If he/she says they is new damage ask them to show you then look at your photos if you have a photo of that damage they normally say ok. But if you haven’t got a photo your going to get charged. This is how the company makes money. ALL HIRE COMPANIES ARE THE SAME SOME WORSE THAN OTHERS.

Good Morning

I’ve used OK a few times but not had a problem just pay the Full insurance and then no issues. Centauro are fabulous and so helpful. Had to use Firefly when arriving late at night booked through Jet 2 car hire but they try to pressure you into more insurance. Take lots of pictures or video before you leave the airport parking area as it’s your safeguard when they say these no damage to the vehicle when it looks like it’s been banger tac
