Hi dawn-Wayne.

We pick the keys up to our new pad in la zenia on 24th August.

Re Internet, our lawyer showed us a place in la zenia that is a pay as you go Internet, apparently you pay for the initial setting up, then give them a weeks notice and pre order say a weeks Internet at approx €3 per day. I think that's what we will do, then we're not paying for Internet we don't use and it's ideal for guests.

Hi again Steve and Cheryl

I almost forgot! Good luck in your new pad! We hope you have many happy sunny days there!

Hi there,

My young son and I are from Belfast and are hopefully moving to live in Playa Flamenca around end of August beginning of Sept.  I have been over several times trying to sort out our living details etc.

I`m in my late 40`s and we do not know anyone or have any family there.  It would be great to chat to people and get to know some before we move.

It seems to be a very friendly place as any time we have been there everyone seemed to be very helpful and pleasant.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Gill.

Hi Gill

The people here are so friendly and helpful, you will make lots of friends. I hope you get get it all sorted. I'm afraid we are over here now and will be going home before you arrive. But you will soon get to know people. Good luck and all the best to you.

Dawn & Wayne

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for that, when you say la zenia shopping mall, did you mean the giant new shopping centre? Our lawyer is arranging for the small place down near the roundabout in la zenia ( near the n332). She thinks they charge €150??)

We're over 24th so probably miss you.

Like you, circa 50's and six children between us (but they're all unmarried and no grandchildren).

Are you in la zenia?

Steve

Hi Steve

Yes I mean the new big shopping centre, it's called la Zenia shopping mall. It's been there a few years now. We are with TV Horadada which is kind of inside the big supermarket, (alcampo). I think that's the name of the supermarket. It's free installation and router wifi, and 100 euros for antenna. I did try to upload a photo of the leaflet, but it didn't work. You get 6mb, which is fine for what we want. It's 3 euros a day, but is cheaper the more days you buy, like: 6 days is 13 euros, 20 days is 28 euros and so on.  We are up near la Florida.

That's good. Hope you get your aircon sorted too. There are plenty of people around who do that.

Hi rainah

Glad you are loving it here! Yes it would be great to meet up for a drink. We are in England next week but are free the week after. Are you free 2nd November which is a week on Wednesday?

It will be lovely to meet up and hear about your views on living in this wonderful country!

Let me know if 2nd November is ok with you and we'll firm  up arrangements.

Best wishes

Jan 😀
