I am certain many other people who holiday or live in Play Flamenca are so very disappointed that the amenities on our much loved beaches have remained unopened during the month of June.

We stay in an area where we have always enjoyed the walk along the sea walkway to La Zenia beach however this year we have been disappointed that there are no longer any of the coves that have sun loungers for hire with parasols, no beach bars and no toilet amenities to take our chairs etc with us is not an option as we are both in our mid seventies although still fit the heat during the past weeks is so fierce it would have been unwise to do so.

This was something we so enjoyed perhaps twice a week and how sad that the vendors have also lost a living during the summer months I sincerely hope that this is addressed by the local authorities before everyone begins to visit different areas that have kept the amenitie

Hello

There is a post like yours 2/3 times a week now. I seriously think that if all the people who posted their complaints on here,  contact the Town Hall with their grievances then its more likely that things would be addressed.

How do they know how people feel if no one tells them?

Cheers

I absolutely would if we were lucky enough to reside in Spain ,alas we are only able to look forward to our hopefully once a year month visit

Thanks for your time and all good wishes to the many who have protested to the Town Hall

When this happened a a few years ago  I  reported it to the organisation that controls Blue Flag certification, absence of toilets is a serious non compliance. I contacted the EU official who contacted Orihuela Council.  Looks like that's what is needed as losing Blue Flag is serious.

Do you think 🤔 this will all be amended when the Spanish begin to Holiday in the areas with children maybe 1st week in July onwards ?
