Possible leak as pool of water at gate las chismosas

We have come home to Dublin last week My brother was checking house and pool of water at gate The neighbour was showing him Neighbour has no English and brother no spainish There is manhole further down outside big gate and has been loud bubbling water noise in it As was Fri afternoon we can't ring committee so we emailed and emailed water company as we have no lever to turn off water outside .We have to now wait the weekend not knowing how bad things are .We can only contact president through committee. Though he lives around corner.Water is off in house so it's OK.Men were working at manhole recently Not sure what they were doing If any tips please would be good We only got the house in January so are new to this and hope to get resolved without huge cost Thanks

Hi, if you haven't already done so you should have access to your mains water meter outside your house and if you suspect you have a leak you need to turn the water off at this point as you are usually liable for all water usage after the meter, in some Urbanisations they are set into a wall in other there's actually a water meter cupboard. If this matter has been resolved it's good practice anyway to locate your meter and turn water off every time house not in use, hope all is ok now.

Thanks for that The Presidente has checked our meter and no movement there so no need to turn off.He has got on to insurance and plumber gping out todat as noise in outside manhole sounds like valve in mains Hopefully we will hear today what the problem is Many thanks for your reply
