Hello. I am retired and looking to spend 6-8 months in spain. I have looked at the retirement visa via the Spanish consultate web site and other sources but still can't find the information I really need..can anyone help with the following.

1.Does the annual income required  need to be paid into a spanish bank?

2.Is the income net or gross?

3.How many times can you renew the visa

4.Do you have to stay in spain for a specified period each year,  once you obtain the visa?

Thank you.
