We now have all the documents required to obtain our residency but the office in Santa Pola is closed due to Covid 19.
Con someone tell us where there is a government office open so that we can get our residency?

Hello
You need to go to the National Police station in Alicante after making an online appointment.....Here is the address, Foreign Nationals' Office [Oficina de Extranjería] in Alicante. Address: Calle Ebanistería No. 4, 03008 Alicante.
Other members who have done this can probably tell you more

Elin is correct. Applications get done in Alicante at that address. You can’t just turn up. You need an appointment -done online and pretty hard to get !
you’ll need all your documents - passport ( photocopy every page!) Padrón from Santa Pola council, S1 or private health insurance, proof you are living here like a rental or house purchase and bank statements to show you have enough money coming in to support yourself - so either proof of your pension, income or lump sum.
It’s easy to find from Santa pola ...you can get the bus to Alicante ( I think it’s €4.60 return ) and walk from there Or get off at the St Gabriel train station. It’s a shorter walk from there.
you can’t enter until 15 minutes before your appointment but there are 2 coffee shops nearby. The one furthest away is in an industrial complex , still only 5 mins walk , and does a great sausage sand which !!
The website to make your appt is
https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/icpco/index.html
Try every day, several times a day till you get lucky ! Between 10 &11 am seems to see some activity and Friday afternoon/ evening .
After that appointment , assuming you are approved , you make another appointment at the same place for fingerprints. Lastly , you pick up your card 3 weeks later, no appointment, at another address in Alicante. I’ll let you know how easy that is to find after this week ! ;)
