Hi Nadia

I cant help with a carpet fitter, although they exist, its not so common here to have fitted carpets so just passing on my suggestion.

I have  warm rugs  for winter months that I use in the bedrooms, whem it's cold /   Then when its warmer/hot I roll them up and store in my under bed storage space and enjoy my feet on the nice  cool tiles.

Cheers

Costa Blanca Flooring in Santa Pola. https://costablancaflooring.com/

Not many in Spain as full carpeting is rather looked down on here as grubby and quite unhygienic. Some do it, though, as we have a shop near us at Los Montesinos that do it but that one is in your area. Not used them so can't recommend them.

We have two large carpets of 3x2 metres we fit together in the living room for the winter months which gives us a 4x3 area covered and we roll them up in the summer months. Bedrooms we also have large rugs.

I did have a great business idea where you bought carpet tiles and put a strap on them for your feet. You would then have carpeting wherever you went. Was going to make a fortune until my missus told me they'd already invented slippers. Doh!

I would seriously think hard about putting down carpet .  I have a couple of rugs in the bedroom for winter and there is so much fine sand blowing in the air here, within a couple of weeks I’ve got a beach in the bedroom.   Think how much will just not get sucked up by a vacuum.

I did the same to my apartment in Sydney. The inherited 6 month old pure wool carpet was HEAVING with sand and grit …best thing we did was to rip it up and tile throughout.

Get some nice rugs you can vacuum & lift up .
