Your dog will be welcomed into my home and treated just like one of the family. When you're not around to look after them, let me give your dog a home-from-home. Rest assured, whether it’s just for a couple of days or a few weeks, I am here to provide around the clock care for your furry loved ones. Your trip will be so much more relaxing knowing that your four-legged friend is happy, safe and well looked after while you are on your travels. It’s so much better than kennels and provides a relaxed environment for all dogs but particularly those that have some behavioural issues. I should know, I had a rescued Patterdale Terrier with extreme separation anxiety for fifteen years that could not be left alone for ANY length of time. He would certainly not have been able to tolerate a stay in kennels. I’ve used home dog boarders many times in the UK and I think they are the best solution if you can’t travel with your dog.

I can cater for those pooches who need one-on-one care but I can also accommodate up to to three dogs, depending on their size.

My home is fully equipped with all the essentials your dog will need for their stay. There is an enclosed and shaded terrace and there is always a couple of freshwater stations available plus a few toys and various beds for them to relax. I will ensure that they stick to their normal daily routines, adhering to any dietary requirements and walking them as much as they need. I am on the edge of the town near plenty of countryside and not far from the river, perfect for taking them out for a stroll.

All you need to do is bring your dog’s food, their bed if they have one and their favourite toy. Of course, if your dog is on any medication please bring that with you as well. I can also provide you with daily ‘pupdates’ on your dog’s stay with me including photos and even FaceTime them if you would prefer!
