Is this for you??? Well about the club, it's in Torrevieja and meetings are every Monday, we meet around 11 ish have a coffee and chat, then the meeting starts at 12 pm all news of what's been going on during the past week, and anything coming up, results for ten pin bowling, Petanca, and games night, also which English films are on, any meals to go too, trips etc etc, we also sometimes have guest speakers, it is 5 euros a year, ( great value) everybody is very friendly as we all in the same boat, I never thought I would join such a club, but was the best thing I ever did. Please let me know if you would like to meet for a coffee, or if you would like to come to the club to see if you think it would something you would like to join, please let me know and I could either take you, or meet you there, it's always nerve raking going to new places, I know. Good luck whatever you decide to do, but still not sure if it's for you or your Dad as different people have asked. Annie

Hi Annie

Thank you so much for all information, it is for my Dad who is moving out end of September, we lost my mum in May ( all very sudden) they were suppose to be moving out together. But he still wants to move out but of course he know no one, and I'm worried he will get lonely as he loves being with people and having a laugh. So I'm trying to funded clubs for like minded people. So he can start to build a different life.

Then he will really enjoy the club, most of us are divorced or widowed, and I can tell you none of us are spring chickens but we are a very friendly, active group, I cannot believe some of the members ages. Please let me know when he is out here, if he doesn't drive I cam arrange for him to be picked up and come to club and see if he likes it, we all live all over Spain in this area. The club is so cheap to be a member, you can pick what you want to do, or not, so please tell him not to worry, my life changed for the best, after I lost my Mother and Father whom I had nursed for many years, if he gets out there and meets a few people, then he will then meet more people and so on. Good luck, and will await to hear from you. Annie

This may be another club, as our club is a closed site, you can only access it once you are a member, but it could be another club to consider.
