No QR code needed.
On arrival at Alicante Airport they are still doing random checks for Covid Vaccination Certificates.
So have printed updated certs showing your booster or show them via your phone. Whichever is best for you.
Still need masks on all forms of public transport here including taxis, also pharmacies and medical facilities. Just today we saw a woman being told to exit bus because she had no mask to wear. The driver insisted.
Weather is glorious, hope you enjoy your time in Spain.

You do need to show a QR code! But for most people their vaccination certificates show the QR code required for entry.
If your certificate does not have a QR code ie the Valencian certificate which does not have either a bar code nor QR code, or a bar coded covid pass etc. If that’s the case then you need to complete the SpTH form to obtain a QR code.

Yes Lynn there is a QR code on most vaccination certificates.
But, I took it that op was asking about the Spanish Locator Form which requires all data to be completed and THEN the spanish site send you their QR code.
As they didn't reply we may never know!

Yes we all have Digital Covid certs on our phones with barcodes on so we’re good to go.
I found the SPTH a nightmare to fill in

I didn’t realise they were talking about completing the SpTH form - We had a non technical family member visit last week who only had the bar coded NHS letter, she had to get another family member to sort out the Covid pass via the app on her phone, otherwise she needed to fill out the SpTH form.
You learn not to take anything for granted on here lol
