What's ur thoughts on a right hand drive vehicle already registered in Spain. And it's a soft top . Would u advise against getting one although not there in summer months anyway
You can drive a soft top for a lot longer than the Summer here in Spain. Many pleasant evenings in Spring right through to Autumn with the top down.
Few problems with a RHD. Can be difficult to see around large vehicles in front if you want to overtake. Tolls and parking garages, unless you have a passenger, are quite difficult to use.
Apart from that not many glitches except that it would be very difficult to sell in future. Even part exchange are loathe to take them and will usually offer a much lower price.

Personally I actually preferred it. Many people have them and have no problems.

We are non residents and keep a Spanish registered right hand drive here for our visits, no issues from my side, loads of right hand drive cars on the road.
Would be more worried it's a soft top.

I drive a right hand drive in Spain and I prefer it. As Marcliff said anywhere with a barrier enter or exit can be a an inconvenience if you are on your own but it doesn’t happen often.

Hi,
I have driven a RHD car in Spain for several years and it is no issue. Though people often mention car park barriers etc. the reality is the only place I've had to get out of the car has been at Alicante airport, so not an issue really. Soft top should not be a problem, like most soft tops rear visibility will be restricted but not much worse than it is in the UK.
Rgds,
Aitch.
I have a RHD Beetle Convertible that I imported. It is brilliant.I have the roof down most months of the year and love it.The really hot months can be challenging but I keep a hat in the car for those occasions.I never lock the car as I take the view there’s nothing to steal and any potential thief wouldn’t need to damage the car to get in and as it’s RHD less likely to be stolen.I want an electric car but currently Tesla doesn’t make one and I’m not convinced with other manufacturers offerings.

There I suspect speaks a man who has not in fact driven LHD because to say he prefers RHD is bordering on the perverse!
I've owned and driven both and its bothered me not in the slightest but for others thoughts on it range from mine to the extreme opposite where I've hear of one person refusing to even ride in a RHD as a passenger, it all comes down to the individual.
As for rag tops, IMO you need to be a bit of a masochist to drive one with the top down in 35-40c blazing sunshine and the initial novelty could quickly wear off so if you do buy it my advice would be to make sure it has a working AC!

I prefer it because I live in the UK and drive a right hand drive. When I drive in Spain where we have a holiday home, I prefer to stay with my Spanish registered right hand drive for continuity. I have driven many left hand drive cars in many different countries so you comment is in correct!

I have also driven both and driving a RHD just seems more comfortable even though I own LHD
