Almoradi is a well serviced Spanish town. It is a short drive inland so you would be looking to market the property to those who want to be in a Spanish town rather than a resort.  You will need to use a local lawyer who is familiar with the Town Hall's current policy on Tourist Licenses to advise you regarding if there are areas or communities within the town where new holiday let licenses are not permitted.  The Town Hall have to issue a Certificate of Compatibility before you can apply for the Tourist License required for all holiday lets.  The property will also need to meet certain requirements on room sizes and equipment. The fines are very steep if you are caught renting out a holiday let without the License.

Looking at the area of south Costa Blanca in a more general sense then yes, the whole area is popular with tourists. You just need to market the property in a manner that reflects the location. There is a demand for family holiday properties in summer and some for winter lets for couples looking to escape from colder climates for a month or so.
