Hi Jim,
chest rubbing? - that made me chuckle, life yet in the old bird then!!! Probably not up to it just yet though Jim, sorry have to turn you down but probably your wife will appreciate that also my other half!
One night away in another home not your own is long enough I would say. At least it's giving me a lot of exercise - did you really need that sort of exercise, don't think so. Hope you got your compensation, lots of people still waiting I see.
Conclusion - it's not surprising that people get confused. - Probably old age setting in there with me then Jim, although as it does not relate to us any more not keeping abreast of it all now. Enough to keep watching out for what will happen to us if the UK does not cover the SIP etc. Hopefully you will update us on that one when we finally know what will happen. I am thinking [and hoping] that common sense will prevail and it will be reciprocal as there are enough Spanish people residing in the UK. BUT common sense does not seem to be prevailing over in the UK at present so who knows!
Yes, feeling really awful with this bronchitis but sense of humour must still prevail although I do not have any energy for it at present. MUST GET A BUCKET OF ENERGY FROM SOMEWHERE. Obviously when the coughing abates I will get the energy back quickly. Just staying in the warm house and taking all the medication the Salud gave me Monday morning, and there was lots of it! Seem to only have energy to sleep but then the coughing wakes me up. Must keep smiling, life is good, we have our health, well most of it! Lovely keeping in touch again.
