Unless you have a working knowledge of Spanish, it will be very difficult. There are long awaiting lists for most jobs and anything is likely to be very low wage - ie pot washing etc. There are many Spanish people out of work and they will tend to be offered work first. There are several ‘British’ owned building outfits around, but most mainly use sub-contract labour/trades; also, if they are fully legal and c ompliant, they will not employ you unless you are registered as ‘autonomo’ - ie self-employed officially in the Spanish tax system. If you have a specific trade, it would be worth you registering as autonomo then contacting all the firms whom you can find online.
