Hi all

I'm looking for a bit of information, we are hoping to come over for our 90days, however, have just found out our dog is diabetic.  We will be able to insulin here, however I'm worried about keeping it cool on the drive. So, is it possible to get it from a vet there? And secondly what are the costs (roughly). Many thanks

Annette

I had a diabetic dog and my vet supplied insulin, however I was registered there so not sure whether you can just walk in and get it. I’m sure they’ll provide it if you ask. Not sure of cost as it was a long time ago but it was definitely cheaper than the UK as are all vet fees. I find I pay about a third of UK costs here.

Good luck.

Contact a vet in the area and ask them.

Thank you very much, for your reply. Our vet has suggested we order the insulin on-line, So, once we have the boy regulated we can do that. My fear is if I only bring one vile, and not able to purchase

Thanks Again
