Hi possibly buying into Jacarilla but need to know of the bar, pub and restaurant provision.

Along with banks, is there a hole in the wall.

Shopping for food etc.

Yes to all that - banco sabadell on high Street.  Jacarilla is a very quiet village with all amenities, a noisy nightlife is a certain no.    You also have further shops etc in bigastro (1 mile) and orehuela (3 miles).  The little park is our favourite Sunday afternoon coffee stop.

When is a deal a deal in Jacarilla.

We were in the process of negotiating a house purchase and agreed a deal with English expats.

The lower price was agreed but when we went for a second viewing on the understanding that they were to take a couple of tables only.

A long list appeared of what they were taking appeared from nowhere and we called the deal off.

We are no longer coming to Jacarilla and are disgusted by their actions.

An agreed deal does not exist.

Unfortunate.   We have bought and sold here twice.   Furnishings are part of the negotiating.   I remember once that we offered a price and they wanted a bit more to include various furnishings.  We said no thank you to the furnishings.   Purchase went through at the lower price.  We flew out, collected keys and all furniture was still in the house!  It's just different here, that's all.   A place in the sun on tv gives a good insight if you haven't watched it often. Good luck with your search -  Jacarilla is a nice place.
