I am SA citizen and wondering what the requirements are for a move and residency permit for Xabia ( or Spain in general).
I am in my late 50's and looking to move for early retirement .
Any advise , assistance etc.
Currently working and living in Denmark for the past 7 years.

You will have to proove an income sufficient to pay for your cost of living and a health insurance. Ask for all the details at you local Spanish consulate.

For a single person to live permanently in Spain you will need to prove that you have an income of €27,115.20 (add another €6,778.80 for a spouse) plus you will need full private healthcare paid up for a full year.
