We are coming to La Mata in October and plan to catch the bus from Alicante airport. Does anyone what bus to catch and how long the journey is?

Alicante airport bus to Torrevieja bus station departs level 2 Alicante airport, pay the driver 7 Euro, estimated journey time up to 1 hour direct and non stop, at present departure times are first bus 8am,10am, 11am,12 noon,1pm,2pm,3pm,5pm,7pm last bus 9pm. Opposite Torrevieja bus station is a local bus stop where you need to catch the La Mata bus = A or A2 bus, pay the driver 1.50 Euro. Journey time about 25 minutes.

Hello Steve
Just a little correction to Peter3473s post. The A2 bus doesnt go past the bus station, only the Line A and the fare is €1.55 now... A taxi from outside the bus station will be approx €8
