Hi Jo

Thank you for a wonderful forum am not sure if I am on the right page of the forum / site am new to all this ..I will be on holiday for 5 weeks in Alicante(  not sure yet where we will be staying ),, but will also be having a look at long term renting before I buy in about two years time ,am looking for a place that will not be like a ghost town come winter .that has a good bus service to beaches  and close to shops .,I am a young 58 just thought I would mention this ,in case that helps .would be grateful for any information that you might have .Kind regards Ann

Hi Try the Rojales/Quesada/Benijofar/Benimar/La Marina areas lots of info on http://www.talkquesada.com/ just do a search on TQ forum top right for search box, the areas I have mentioned are year round and 10 minuets form the sea whereas coastal areas can be dead in winter!

I would suggest a lot of driving round different areas as everyone wants something different.
