Hi All. Happy New Year to everyone on this great site🎉🤗🌞 My other half will be coming to La Mata next week to do a couple of DIY jobs in our flat here. Would like a little help on where to buy paint for metal railings in La Mata itself. He won't be hiring a car this time so need to be as near to La Mata as poss. Thank you all in anticipation. 👍🏽

Rather than Hammerite, I prefer the Spanish equivalent Oxirite.

Sorry, I don't know La Mata. But from my experience ferrets and paint shops normally stock one or the other. Having two makes to choose from makes it easier to find a supplier, and if you want a coloured paint then you have a wider range to choose from.
Hammerite's OK in colder weather, but I wouldn't use it in summer as the solvent evaporates too quickly, so it's difficult to keep a wet edge or avoid brush marks.
