Guardamar council have just issued notices of closure of 11 km of Guardamar beaches (even for walking and sunbathing) and the sea due to contamination following the storms until water quality test results are received and the sand can be deep cleansed.
Although I’ve not seen anything from La Mata or Torreviega I would assume there must be similar concerns give their proximity.
Should have been done last week. We were swimming in that pea soup on Wednesday yeuk, hope we haven’t caught anything nasty.
