Flying from Spain to UK

Are we allowed to take our meat sandwiches through customs / passport control. Or do we have to eat them before we try to go through customs control. We flying from Spain to UK

You should be fine to take your sandwiches through. We did last year. No problems.

Just to let you know that we were given to the ok to take our selection of meat , cheese and egg sandwiches through and past the passport and check in.
You could always eat half of them, 50/50. But I’m sure you should not loose any sleep over it, it will be OK.

We were allowed to take all our sandwiches through into the departure lounge
