hello everybody,

we are looking for a property, possibly at Monte Pego. The question we now have is how public or other transport is regulated towards there to f.e. Denia. At the www we seem not to find anything about this and we do not want to end in some kind of ´hotel California`...

Furthermore a second topic: are there any hints/tips in buying a property on the Monte Pego?

Best regards and maybe till one of these days...

Hi Maarten,

Living on Monte Pego and the Denia area in general is difficult without a car. There is no local rail network and depending on where you buy it can be a long walk to a bus stop for a service that runs few times a day. I'm not saying it's impossible but you should definitely check the bus route and timetable before buying.

If you haven't already bought, why not consider buying in a town? That means you would be able to walk to the facilities you need (doctor, post office, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc) It would also mean that you could enjoy the Spanish community feeling and integrate a little into Spanish society.

Kind regards,

Steve

hello Steve,

thank you for your answer. Well, directly in a town also can mean more disturbances (f.e. noise, parking,etc)....so pro´s and contra´s indeed!

best regards,

Maarten
