Hi. The current provider is frankly dreadful, despite many complaints. We are not getting the speed they claim or are paying for, even making a phone call on WhatsApp is impossible. Can anyone recommend a supplier for Monte Solana please? Also is there fibre optic available here? Thank you.

These days internet contracts are for "speeds up to", not "you will always get", a common misinterpretation of what people sign to.

As for is fibre there, best to speak to your neighbours, or go for a stroll and look on posts and walls for fibre distribution boxes, and see the sticker on them as to who provides it, or contact the likes of Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Telitec, Adamo, to see if they offer it...

Thank you! Yes I know that it’s  up to, but having gone to the provider, even they say it should be more than it is! It’s around 5-10% of the up to figure which is pretty shabby!

Hi

If you have more than one device, do a speed test on both. My cheap Huawei y5 never gets more than 70 or so, but my Samsung A13 get 250 and my wife's laptop is around 280. All through the same WiFi router.

Cheers

Steve

I'm in Beniarbeig and also with Hola Wifi. Very good signal and excellent speeds.
