Valencia government have provided a link for residents with PHI to get a SIP number.

They also give details of local health centre to register at.

We completed the online details last night and this morning received text messages and a phone call with our numbers.

We haven't been to the health centre yet but that's next.

The link is

https://coronavirusregistro.san.gva.es/sipcovid19/registrosinsip?language=es

The cards provided.....I believe......are provisional cards which do not give access to free health care but do put us on the register for the virus.

The sections asking for social security number and SIP number are left blank.

Thank you so much for this Lynne.  Filled out the forms for us both this morning.  Something now out of my head so I can relax that have done all we can to be contacted when appropriate.  :-)

You are welcome.

Has been giving me sleepless nights too!

Have still to register at health centre. If can't get through on phone will just turn up one day I think......

UPDATE

Do not have to visit the local health centre named in message that gives SIP number.

Apparently, they are given our data and will contact us.

When we go in we take residencia/TIE and PHI details

Hi all and thank you Idp for this information, I am having problems registering my UK mobile phone number as data form only accepts 9 digits? I do not have a Spanish mobile, thank you, great post.

Thanks Idp.

My SIP (presumably a one-time number) was texted through this morning.
