It's a good picture, but not sure if it is "vegan on the ridiculous" or a real Boris " burger-me". V

I believe the picture is of what became known as a "substantial" meal in pubs & restaurants under coronavirus tier 2 restrictions in parts of England. Tier 4 around us now so a drink in a pub is but a distant memory!

Happy New Year.

Aitch.

p.s. Villas when you mention Boris in your answer were you referring to the UK PM, in which case it may count as politics, or were you maybe referring to the Speaker of the House of Commons pet parrot, in which case I would say it is not politics? Or possibly some other Boris?

No its still a roll, because a bap is a roll, you could call it a stottie though. but its still a chip buttie.

A butty to me is 2 pieces of square bread with butter. Haven’t ever heard of a stottie though. Where’s this from? .
