Spanish or UK morgage

Hi should I go for a Spanish or UK morgage, what is the minimum deposit for a Spanish mortgage.
What is the buying market like Costa blanca. I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
Given a choice it's preferable to borrow money in the same currency in which you earn it.

The setup charge for a Spanish mortgage is high, but look at the costs and interest rates for both options and work out which would be cheaper over the life of the mortgage.
I don't know, but there might be problems with the land registry - Registro de la Propiedad - if a property isn't subject of a Spanish mortgage.
