Hi everyone,

Myself and my husband are coming over for a week in June, and considering moving to Pinada Golf. We know the area a little bit but unsure of any bus services to other areas and beaches.

Also wondering if there are any local bars and restaurants close by to Pinada Golf and how far it is to the Villamartin Square for walking.

Would be very grateful for any information that would help.

Many Thanks,

Mike and Sue White.

Parts of Pineda Golf can be quite hilly. Your closest bars will be Captain Morgan, Wolfies etc. Depending where you are on Pineda Golf your looking at a good 20 min walk to the Plaza. I don't particularly like that walk as you have the narrow pathway on the road between the golf courses.

Hi

Thank you for your information. We are on Pinada Golf 2. Are the local bars you mentioned close by. Do you know of buses running to various places and beaches. Just want an idea of what's around us within walking distance or on a bus.

Many Thanks.

Mike and Sue White.

From Pineda Golf you will be ten mins to the bars I mentioned and there are 4 or 5 bars all serving food there.

Buses I would imagine you would have to walk to the Plaza for those. I am sceptical of the bus options however I believe the ones that do go to the Plaza are not bad.

Will probably go to La Zenia  area which gives you shopping and the beach

You are probably only 20mins the other way to the bars and restaurants at EL Galan. Nothing right on your doorstep at Pineda Golf but close enough if you don't mind a walk

We stayed there a couple of years ago. Yes you can get a bus on the main road beside captain Morgan's. Nearest shop is at the square. It is nice but we found it too be a bit too far away from everything.

So we now prefer playa flamenca

Hi we have an apartment on Pinada golf 2 which we bought last year and love it there as everyone is so friendly, the bars mentioned by others are 2 minutes away captain morgans/wolfies, the plaza is 10-15 minutes walk and la fuente is about 20-25 minutes plus there's lots of other bars/restaurants close by, the bus runs right past the Urbanisation every hour so you can get to la zenia boulevard and also Campoamor for the beach,  we will be there from 26th-30th June if your there  that week and would like to meet up we can give you lots more information about the area.

Afternoon everyone. My dad's girlfriend has said we can go and stay at her apartment near villa martin. My question is there will be 5 of us 1 infant 2 children and 2 adults. We don't have a car so would need to use buses and taxis.   What do we do about a car seat?  We would like to go to the beaches maybe the zoo then torevieja (sorry if spelt wrong)      realistically how hard are we going to find travelling around ?

Hi

Re "how hard travelling around" - Villamartin is not good for public transport! But it depends on precisely where (VM covers quite a large area). If you're walking distance from La Zenia Boulevard then buses will be much easier to find.

Also be aware that VM is a hilly area!

Personally, I recommend that you hire a car.

Re zoo - I can't think of one in this area!

Cheers

Steve
