Can I travel to the UK for a week, isolate while I’m there and then return to Spain?

Yes, the standard quarantine is as you know 14 days, however, if staying for less than 14 days you quarantine for the entirity of your stay before returning to Spain.

It was discussed previously on the Forum and on the Euronews website.

"If you want to travel to the UK and stay for less than the 14-day quarantine period you are allowed to do so.

Before arriving at the UK border you are required to fill out a 'passenger locator form', which can be completed 48 hours before entering Britain."

May be I'm a little slow. But Yvonne is going to the UK for a week and John had a day  trip.

What about the quarantine. Did John stay in a hotel at the airport for the day  or did he leave the airport to meet people breaking the Quarantine. Does Yvonne intend to quarantine for her stay .Quarantine means self isolation .May be I missed something. What's the fine for breaking quarantine rules in the UK.

Hi, I might be wrong but looking it from a logical point of view, it's 14 days as that is time that you can become positive you could quarantine for the 7 days and then go back to Spain on the 8th day get on a plane positive. Sorry if I am wrong.

I went over for a business thing ,if I could have got back same day I would have ,unfortunately I had to stay over ,positive I'm covid free ,in fact  100% certain I am ,as followed guidance ,as it turned out  ,a wasted journey why should I stay 7 days for something I did  in 32 hours ,please explain
