I have been contacted by a friend living in Villamartin who needs to get herself and her dog back to the uk asap.
I wonder is there anyone on here who transports dogs back to the UK or can recommend someone.

Hi, we came across in October with our dog and cat with Pronto pets, lovely couple, treat all the animals on board as though they were their own, plenty of stops for food, water and walkies, you can contact James on facebook.

I personally have not had to transport a dog, but this seems to be the company used by Paradise Rescue based near Orihuela. I follow their Facebook page and they often mention their transport team. They are now accustomed to the paperwork requirements too.
You could try contacting some other local rescue centres as many rehome dogs in the UK and have regular transport needs.
