I would agree with Pete, better to sell in the U.K. and buy a left hand drive here, second hand cars tend to be more expensive here as there is less depreciation, although a good dealer ( like Auto Roig in Cabo Roig ) includes change of ownership ( can be expensive ), ITV ( MOT equivalent ), service and help with getting insurance.

You would soon get used to driving here as long as you are ultra careful, bear in mind there are lots of tourists who don't know where they are going and have no experience of driving here, also roundabouts take some getting used to as everyone does their own thing.

If you're worried about driving in Spain, then watch a few youtube videos on the subject. I've been driving here for years but watched them before my very first attempt and they helped a lot.

As others have said, it's fairly straighforward and you soon get the hang of it all.

Good luck.

As per previous response driving from Santander is pretty easy. Sleep on the ferry and stop as often as you need to. Done it a few times inc pulling heavy trailer which took 11 hours that time. Lovely quiet motorways, mainly agricultural land. I’d say try your own car for a trip to and see how you get on here. If not hire LH one for few days here and give it a try. Driving here no great difference to any other town. 2 or 3 fairly busy roundabouts and rest is easy
