Getting to Alicante airport

I have a flight booked in Saturday 20 February from Alicante. I live in El Galan which comes under San Miguel. Would my sister be allowed to drive me to the airport?

Hi Lynda,
I believe the answer is no, because whichever way you travel, you will need to enter the perimetral border of Elche, which is where the airport is located and that's not allowed between 3pm on Fridays and 6am on Mondays. Presumably, your flight is for essential reasons, but I don't think your sister taking you to the airport would be classified as such, when you can take a taxi instead.
