Just be aware that you need to register it as a rental property with the Valencian Community, have landlord's insurance, and be registered with Agencia Tributaria in readiness for paying tax on any net income.

People have unrealistic expectations about the potential revenue avaliable.  From renting your property. There is no money in holiday let's.  Long term residential let's is the only viable income stream

Tax on lettings is additional to the notional non-resident tax.

Every non-resident who doesn't let out their property is legally obliged to submit an annual return.

The tax is based on the catastral value, and the tax rate depends on when the property was last revalued.

If you're a UK tax payer, then you need to declare lettings income on the UK return as well as the Spanish return, but on the UK return you claim relief under the dual taxation treaty.

Hi we are currently renting through property rentals (long term). Our tenancy agreement runs out end of October so we are now looking for somewhere else for 3-6 months over the winter period or until our house is sold in the uk.

What kind of propertdo you have and how much per month?

Many thanks Karen

My property is in Villamartin across the road from Verdemar 3. It is a two and a half bedroom townhouse  in a small community. With English tv, inverter air con, solarium with sea view, terrace overlooking the swimming pool with palm trees and lawn, microwave......

The long term rent is 480€ not including the electric and water.

Let me know if you are interested. ( I am the owner, no agency). I leave on Saturday  if you want to come and see the property

Best regards

Lila.

Hi

We're renting on Verdemar 3 at the moment! Is your house on Las Palomas IV ?

We actually looked at your house back in September last year but dismissed it due to  overlooking the commercial centre and pylons at the back! Lovely house with a lovely pool though.

Hi,

Thank you for praising my property and pool.

The commercial centre just behind us now Includes  a gym.  The pubs are further away and we do not get any noise or disruption from them. Unfortunately the pylons are a sore eye if you look that way. I prefer to look the other way at my sea view.

Thank you again and I hope you will find a convenient property soon.

Best regards

Lila
