Wanted to take a few days away somewhere, any suggestions, around Alicante area

Just had a few days away staying at the Cap Negret hotel in Altea. Highly recommended, had a lovely time in a wonderful hotel.

javea, altea, calpe, benidorm all nice places to visit, depends what you are looking for, if you like water you must visit fonts de algar, and guadalest is great to visit for the day, and if you like old motor bikes, there is a museum on the way to guadalest, not sure if i spelt that correctly,
