Does anyone know how to tell if a curb painted yellow is official or if it's a DIY job?

Thanks in advance.

In my area at least, there's either a clearway etc sign at the start of a no parking road, or the kerbs are painted yellow - or blue if you can park and pay. They don't normally use both a sign and painted kerbs.

In that case, all I can suggest is that you take a photo and show it to your local police. Again in my area, the local police are nice people.

Do you mean outside a driveway rather than ordinary road? If a driveway there should be a town hall plaque and number affixed to the wall - hope that helps

Thanks Ray, it's a problem with parking in our road, we are bumper to bumper and still no space so when a curb has been painted yellow, as I suspect just to guarantee a space for themselves it's a little frustrating, from what you say it's a DIY job.
