Hello

We are looking to purchase a property around Villamartin and are planning to come out at the end of October.

We have been in contact with a few agents over there, in particular Vista Casa, La perla estates and Costa Blanca sales.

Has anybody had any good/bad experiences with either these or any other selling agents.

thanks

Thanks for the info

Am I right in thinking then that Linda would be able to show us properties that are on sale through 3 or 4 different agents. I thought we would have to make appointments with each individual agent selling the properties.  Is that not the case ?

Thanks jo.

Buying can be such a frustrating process.

1. Ghost listings

2. Property sold months ago via a different agent.

3. Agents wanting to take over and select properties you didn't ask to see.

I asked to view 8 properties via 3 different agents. 4  were no longer available but the agent continued to market them long after we visited. Two agents cancelled the viewings when we got out there. Bought privately in the end. But I know others had an easier ride

Draw up a shortlist of about 8. Contact each agent the week before and tell them you want to view these properties. Can you organise it.. One piece of advice never go in the car with the agent. Follow them in your hire car. I preferred using different agents as you could say I'm viewing with another agent tomorrow. This prevents hard sell etc

I highly recommend Homespana who I ended up buying a property through.  I also saw many properties with Casas Manuel.  I too spent many hours trawling the Spanish property websites plus UK ones that advertise Spanish properties.  I made a shortlist and emailed both agents (not with the same properties).  Some were ghost properties - some looked great on the advert but were awful once there is person.  My hubby and I were picked up at our hotel and taken in the agents cars.  Good luck.

We brought our home with Costa Blanca sales, the guys name was Logan, great service not pushy at all. we found the property that we wanted and was ready to pay the asking price, but he managed to reduce it down 9000 euros. They done all the paperwork, sorted out a solicitor & help with opening a bank. They made the whole process very easy.

You don't need to view with los of different agents, they all work together.
