I need to check all possible gas providers in the Villamartin area to find out mine.

I have a place since late 2019in the Villamartin area in Calle Nabucco, Solicitor purchased property on my behalf and set up all direct debits, and apparently did not for gas. Didn't even know I had gas. Now tenants recently had a visit from the gas company to check the gas. The rental manager does not know the gas company, we've never received any bills for gas up till now, and the solicitor has not been much help. Am in the UK.

So I need to come and go around all gas providers to find out which one is mine. Does anyone have a list of all gas providers in the Villamartin area, specifically around Calle Nabucco?

Thanks

What was the name of the company who came round to check the gas and did they make an appointment?
What gas appliances are there in the property and are they mains gas or bottled? Inspections have to be made every 5 years so if it was Cepsa or Repsol and there is an existing contract with them then this could be the answer.
Unfortunately there are a lot of crooks about.

We are with Iberdrola for gas and electric.  There's also a company called Naturgy I think.

Thanks very much. Am quite baffled. They just turned up, and my tenants/rental agents dont know their company name. I certainly dont have bottled gas, probably mains. What is strange is that since 2019, I have never received a bill, but my rental agents after the incident in February confirmed that the property has gas, but unable to say what company. I plan to come over from the UK soon and visit every gas company around to find out, even though I don't speak Spanish.  I worry every day that my tenants could be turned off and also that I must have a huge back bills!

Not wanting to sound daft but you said earlier you didn't know you had gas. Is there a gas hob or gas water heater?
Did they charge your tenants  and what did they actually check once inside the property?

Could it be that there is a mains supply to the property but it is not "live" so therefore no gas actually used?

I am the one that will probaly sound daft!

I bought the property as a holiday let and only been there twice and stayed for few nights. I thought everything was all electric. I cooked several tiimes and it was electric (I think) I didn't see a gas boiler anywhere, its a flat.

I am looking for a list of all possible gas suppliers to that general area in Villamartín, specifically Calle Nabucco,  so if you do know or can point me to where i can find a list of gas providers, will be most appreciated. I plan to come very soon and visit them with my ID and ownership docs to find out.

Thanks very much

And, no, since 2019, no charges, and solicitor who purchased for me did not set up any gas direct debit

I dint have much info from the rental agents, except that some gas person came and haven't even been given a report, but they insisting there is gas supply to the property, so no idea what the gas person came to check.  The only option at this point is to come and see all possible gas suppliers to obtain details.  Thanks.

Could the gas contract be something that your tenant (previous?) set up?

Yes, possible, or the previous owners, but l have no records of it, and rental agents/ solicitors have not been able to confirm this, so looking for list of all possible gas suppliers in the area to reach out to ask. Please share if you know possible suppliers.

Thanks very much!
