we have just moved in and would like to know if it is possible to change the electric hob for a gas one and who to contact?

Hi we have changed over to complete gas boiler situated outdoors and it serves the kitchen cooking and hot water for the house, I Don't think you can have half gas and half electric but don't quote me. But it is cheaper than electric.

When changing from a gas to electric hob, first of all the gas connection needs to be made safe. The hob will need a suitable breaker, correct size cable and isolation switch. Recently, I have changed the gas with an electric hob with the help of contractor. It is very necessary that we should hire the experts for changing the hob.
