We are having a clear out and have lots of English paperbacks. Does anyone know of an animal charity that may be interested in them or is it a bit fruitless with them being mainly English (1 or 2 French). If not, any other charity would be okay. Just seems a shame to throw them away.

There are PEPA shops in Oliva and Font D'En Carros (on the outskirts of Oliva) that both take books. I think PEPA also have stalls at rastos in Ontinyent and other places. Perhaps if you call them they can tell where is closest to you.
