Think I'll stay in bed must be so dangerous to go near a beach in Spain Do people really get paid for this
Those local rules have been at Benidorm for quite a few years. You are not allowed on the beach over night because the council workers clean the beach using tractors and special machinery to sift through the sand. If you were sleeping on the beach and weren't seen then obviously these heavy machines could kill you.
Smoking and drinking on the beach was banned a couple of years ago.
As for talking to loudly will the Spanish people get fined too......they are nearly always louder than the brits....

I shouldn't imagine the rules only apply to the Brits unlike some peoples' perceptions.

I wouldn’t bother Mike. I know what you’re saying is correct, because like you I research. However, some owners in Spain think that everything is just something printed in a UK newspaper. Let them get fined.

I think such articles are useful for newcomers, guests and the rest of us who gradually forget these details, because we overcame them in the past. Newcomers should also be aware that Spain, communities, towns, cities, schools and businesses celebrate holidays on different dates.

I agree 100%, but some people won’t accept it when new laws come into play and think it’s just propaganda.
