Good news at last, my son got the wonderful news telling him the meters have been switched back and they are now paying for their OWN electricity, goodness knows how many years this has been going on but not banking on getting any compensation back as it’s Spain,,,,,

Don't blame Spain my friend.

Blame your SONS for not taking care of their own money.

Don’t remark on things you know nothing about, my friend, Iberdrola agreed the meters has been switched and after a year of trying to get them switched back, my son had to get his own electrician to sort the mess out, NO fault of my sons , …..Spain at fault.

Disagree vehemently, sorry. I know what I read.

You blamed SPAIN.

Now you're saying it's the electricity company.

So you should back off and admit you were wrong, amigo.

NOT SPAIN'S FAULT.

Iberdrola:

Subsidiaries include Scottish Power (United Kingdom) and a significant part of Avangrid (United States), amongst others. As of 2023, the largest shareholder of the company is the Qatar Investment Authority, with BlackRock and Norges Bank also holding significant interests.

Yes, I guess I have got shares in Spain.

Benn paying my taxes here for over 35 years.

If you had blamed Iberdrola in the first place, I would not commented.

It's a corporation that doesn't give a crap about me, you or indeed your sons.

But it's not SPAIN'S fault. So keep on whingeing and enjoy your time in MY adopted country.

'Bye!

It was really good to hear the outcome, so many times people ask advice for various issues, but we rarely get to know if they managed to sort things out.
