Flight overcharge

I booked a flight back to UK and unfortunately used last minute.com. I clicked on their flexi fare for 57 euros, and assumed that would be the charge as it was shown on the booking. When the confirmation came through the next day they charged 92 euros, and the difference was shown as an agency charge. They do not show this when you book and give your payment details. In my opinion this is deceitful and possibly fraudulent, and I continue to try and reclaim this. PLEASE don’t book with these sharks and I sincerely hope that by posting this it helps others and their bookings go in a downward spiral.

Sorry to hear this. I too was stung by lastminute.com and have never gone back. I protested and was ignored. Many of these hip young companies have no integrity.

Sorry that this happened to you, but I think the clue is in the name "flexi fare".

It's is also common that fares will go up in the last few days before the flight.
