Are you saying brits and other nationalities are now allowed into Spain for holidays or other reasons even if they aren't residents or working here? That's great news, me and lots of others will actually be able to see our families again.

NO

This is the current rule.

Suggest you keep an eye on this website.

https://english.elpais.com/spanish_news/2021-03-09/spain-extends-restrictions-on-travel-from-uk-brazil-and-south-africa-until-march-30.html

Spain will be keeping its regional boundaries closed until after Easter.

https://english.elpais.com/society/2021-03-11/spains-regions-agree-to-restrict-travel-over-easter-week-but-madrid-rejects-measure.html

There is some frustration here that people can Spain enter from EU countries and travel to their second homes, but that we cannot cross regional borders without very good reasons.

I have sold my house in Spain (,exchange on 22nd )

Easyjet sold me flights,  UK said we could fly as long as we have Negative tests no more than 72 hrs before.

Spanish Embassy said if I go, they will turn me straight back at the Airport !

And possibly Fined, as considered non essential .

So I have lost Everything in my house !

after 20 years of Spanish  beaurocracy  I am glad to get out !

Luckily I gave the Assesoria Power of Attorney.

Can your estate agent collect anything you need and store it?

To be honest, to bring it all back, we would have to drive down, and after factoring in ferry prices, fuel, hotels etc ,plus storage, it's hardly worth it.

Most of my tools are duplicates of what I have in the UK, and it would be cheaper to buy the things I wanted, again here.

Most photos are on my computer, so I can re print them.

I don't think the new owners will want my old underwear though .lol.

Oh and do not forget the import charges. We were quoted £3,500 plus vat by a removal company to get a modest amount of furnishing and personal possessions back to England!

There shouldn't be any import charges if you are taking your own things back to your place or residence. As long as you have owned them for more than six months.

Thanks for your response which is noted.Do you or anyone there really know what the 17 autonomous regions are doing from one week to the next?,planning to do? The N332 Facebook page has been keeping us up to date with rules and regulations in respect of the virus since last March.   They have recently posted the 11th update.   The page, and their website, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.   Th website deals with anything to do with driving in Spain and has a English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.

Hello all,

We are selling our house in Castalla and have a completion with the Notary scheduled for a June date or earlier. We want to buy another house in the Castalla area and are actively looking, stretching the digital world with the various estate agents to the limit! We have read that UK will allow leg...

...al travel to Spain if we declare buying, selling a house.Has anyone completed this declaration and travelled. We know you can get a declaration from the Notary, what about estate agents if you have several physical viewings arranged, can they supply a valid certification of appointments  ? Our buyers managed it and travelled from another EU country and bought our house. We are vaccinated(first one), against Covid but of course will have to take Covid tests as well.Anyone can advise who have managed to get over to do this ? Thanks

I was concerned about me and my partner travelling back to Spain in May, I applied for residency in October last year but my companion had too fly home due to illness

In the family, I checked on the Government website as I knew I had my letter to say that my application for residency had been accepted and that I would be able to present this at the airports,  I initially thought my friend travelling with me would be ok

To travel with me as he would be going too the same address as me, but I discovered that as he was intending to stay longer than the 90 days he would need to get a visa ? So I suggest that you would also need too do that.
